proximity of Goa to the sea makes it humid and a region of mild climate.
The state remains extremely warm from April to June whereas December to
February is the most pleasant time at Goa.A lovely lush green sheet drapes the state between July to September which is the monsoon season here. An average rainfall of 320cm makes the state quite wet. The following months of October and November are however relatively warm and observe no rain. The best season to visit Goa is from October to May as in Summer, the temperature ranges between 24° C and 32.7° C whereas in winter, it is between 21.3° C and 32.2° C. The best time to visit Goa is during the months of October to April, when temperatures range between 21 and 32° C (70 - 90F). The nights during this time are very pleasant while the days are relatively warm. The relative humidity in Goa is higher during the months of July to September. The winter starts setting in from December thus leaving the weather mostly foggy especially during dawn and at dusk. It is the pleasant climate of the region only that has contributed a great deal in the emergence of the state as a popular tourist destination.
