Discover India Tour is a combination of small Best of India Tours. It includes the famous Golden Triangle Tour and Ajanta & Ellora Tour.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Pick from the airport and transfer to the pre-booked hotel.

Day 2&3: Delhi After breakfast at hotel proceed for an excursion tour in Delhi. It includes the following places:

Red Fort: Lal Quila (Red Fort) is so called because it is made of red bricks and is totally red in color. Jama Masjid: India's largest mosque, Jama Masjid, located in Old Delhi opposite the Red Fort can accommodate 25000 devotees at a time.


Chandni Chowk
Chandni Chowk: if translated in English Chandni Chowk means moonlit square. It is the most prosperous trading center of Delhi. This crowded market area is famous for its narrow streets and the quality of goods apart from the Havelis.
Rajghat: It is a memorial to the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

Jantar Mantar: Jantar mantar was built in 18th century to predict the time and movement of sun, moon and planets.

Rashtrapati Bhawan: Rashtrapati Bhawan is the President House.

India Gate: One of the largest and best memorials in India is India Gate. Amar Jawan Jyoti (flame of immortal Warriors), children's park and boating make the place very unique.

Qutub Complex: Qutub complex is famous for Qutub Minar and Iron Pillar.The complex consist of other important constructions like Quwwat ul-Islam Mosque, the Alai Gate and the Alai Minar. Lotus Temple: Lotus Temple is a lotus shaped temple open for all irrespective of their religions and faiths. It is an ideal place for meditation.

Cannaught Place: CP (Cannaught Place) is the best shopping center for localities and foreigners. Palika Bazaar and Janpath are the famous market places in CP Akshardham: Akshardham is India's largest temple and attracts almost 70% of tourists visiting Delhi. Its incredible architecture, musical fountains, landscape gardens and boat ride are wonderful.


khajuraho Day 4 & 5: Khajuraho
Fly toKhajuraho from Delhi on day 4 and check in at a pre-booked hotel.

Khajuraho, a village in Madhya Pradesh, 620kms from Delhi is famous for its unique temples. These medieval and Jain temples are famous for their erotic sculptures. Sightseeing in Khajuraho includes the following:

Kandariya Mahadeo Temple: The largest Khajuraho temple, Kandariya Mahadeo Temple, 31meters high, is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Chaunsat Yogini Temple: This temple is dedicated to goddess Kali.

Lakshamana TempleLakshamana Temple: This temple is famous for the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva along with goddess Lakshmi.

Chitragupta Temple: This temple is dedicated to Sun God and is famous for a three- headed image of Brahma.

Matangeswara Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Matangeswara Temple is famous for its eight feet high lingam.

Vishwanath Temple: A three-headed image of Brahma is treasured in Vishwanath Temple.

Varaha Temple houses: This temple is known for nine-foot high boar-incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Other sightseeing places are Parsvanath Temple, Jain Temple and Adinath Temple.

Day 6: Khajuraho- Orcha- Agra
OrchaOn the way to Agra from Khajuraho you will come across Orcha . It is a small town of marvelous palaces and temples is located between Jhansi and Khajuraho. Orcha is a house to three beautiful Palaces-Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal reflecting the magnificent architecture of 17th century. After visiting the beautiful town Orcha proceed further to Agra. Check in at a pre-booked hotel for overnight stay in Agra.

Day 7: Agra
A trip to India is incomplete without a visit to Agra. Agra, about 201kms from Delhi, is the City of Taj. The No.1 wonder of the world Taj Mahal is located here in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Places to Visit in Agra:

Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal is called the symbol of love. The great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan made this marvelous monument in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The most skilled architects, stone-graphers, craftsmen and other perfectionists of their fields from all over the world worked together to built Taj Mahal.

Fatehpur Sikri: Fatehpur Sikri, an epic in red sandstone, was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1564 A.D. Sikandra Fort: Here is the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. It is an exclusive combination of Hindu and Muslim architectures.

Day 8: Jaipur
After arrival in Jaipur, check in to the pre-booked hotel and then proceed for sightseeing in Jaipur. Jaipur, 277kms from Delhi, is the first planned city of India. The construction of the city was started by Maharaja Jai Singh II and it took 4 years to construct the major palaces and roads. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is known as Pink City. It is so called because when in 1853, Prince Whales came for a visit to Jaipur, the whole city was painted in pink for his warm welcome.

Jaipur can rightly be called the "City of Forts". The main attractions in Jaipur are Amer Palace, Fort Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jal Mahal, The City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh.

Chowki DhaaniDay 9: Chowki Dhani
Another famous tourist destination of India is Chowki Dhani. This village resort is a well created artificial Rajasthani village. It is a rural village with 5 star facilities. In this 5 star resort, one gets a chance to get familiar with Rajasthani culture, customs and traditions. It is the perfect place to enjoy Rajasthani dances, potters and cooks. Animal rides and palm readers are also available.

Day 10&11: Udaipur
After breakfast fly to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, in Rajasthan famous for Thar Desert.
Excursion tours during the stay in Udaipur include sightseeing of the following places:

Gulab Bagh (Rose Garden): Gulab Bagh is a fabulous rose garden situated near the palace on east side of Lake Pichhola. Within the garden, there is a library having collection of handwritten manuscripts and books and a zoo.

City Palace: City Palace in Udaipur provides a panoramic view of the city Udaipur on one side and Jag Mandir on the other side.

Jagdish Temple: Built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651, Jagdish Temple is an excellent example of Indo-Aryan architecture in India.

Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour): Sahelion is Bari, a relaxing spot, is ornamented with wonderful pools, kiosks and marble elephants. The garden is so called because the royal ladies used to stroll here.

Other places included in the tour to Udaipur are Monsoon Palace, Lake Pichola, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Ahar Museum, Jain Temple and Bagore ki Haveli.

Ranakpur Day 12: Visit to Ranakpur near udaipur.
Ranakpur is a village located between Udaipur and Jodhpur in the Pali district of Rajasthan. It is 55 kms away from Udaipur. Ranakpur is popular for its marble Jain temple. Jain Temple has over 1444 differently carved pillars with no two pillars carved the same. Jain Temple has an exclusive carving made out of single marble rock with 108 heads of snakes.

Day 13: Mumbai
Arrival in Mumbai by air and check in at a pre-booked hotel.
Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is the commercial capital of India. Capital of the State Maharashtra, Mumbai is the second most populous city of the world. It is famous for its film city Bollywood.

Places to Visit in Mumbai:

Gateway of India: Tourists exploring Mumbai, start their tour to Mumbai from Gateway of India. It was built to memorialize the visit of King George V and Queen Marry. When the British Rule in India ended in 1947, the last ships of British left from the Gateway of India to England.

Juhu Beach: Juhu beach is India's most popular beach.

Prince of Wales Museum: Located near the Gateway of India, Prince Wales Museum is has wonderful but strange structure. It has a good collection of ancient Indus Valley, Tibetan and Nepali art.

Taraporewala Aquarium: here one gets an opportunity to see more than 100 species of fresh water and marine fish along with sharks, turtles, morays and some coral fish from the Lakshadweep Islands.

Other Places: Jahangir Art Gallery, Mahalaxmi temple and the tomb of the Muslim saint Haji Ali.

Day 14 and 15: Aurangabad
Arrival in Aurangabad and check in a pre-booked hotel.
Named after the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, Aurangabad is located in Maharashtra. It is a grest tourist hub famous hub surrounded by historical monuments and UNESCO World Heritage sites Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves. Aurangabad is called the City of Gates as one can't miss presence of gates as one drives through the city.

Main attractions at Aurangabad are Ajanta and Ellora caves. Ajanta Caves were discovered in 1819 by British Army Officers. These caves, 100km away from the Aurangabad city, are located in the Sahyardi Hills. Ellora Caves are just 30kms from the Aurangabad city. There are 34 cave temples, 12 Mahayana Buddhist caves, 17 Hindu caves & 5 caves of the Jain faith. The most remarkable cave is Kailash Temple Cave.

Day 16: Mumbai
Fly back to Mumbai and proceed further to home.
