Discover Nagaland Tour

Day 01:
Calcutta. Meet upon arrival at airport and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02:Calcutta to Dimapur. Arrive at Dimapur and transfer to hotel. After lunch visit 13th century Khachari Ruins, Naga shopping arcade & Nagaland handloom.

Day 03:
Dimapur/Kohima. After breakfast proceed to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. Arrive in Kohima and check into Hotel Japfu. Afternoon proceed to visit Kohima War Cemetery, a supreme memorial raised in memory of allied soldiers killed in World War II by the invading Japanese forces.

Day 04:
Kohima. Early morning drive of 23 kms to visit Viswasua village of Angami tribe. Walk down to explore the village of Angami tribe which has traditional wooden gates, adorned with human heads and Buffalo horns. Cultural programme of Angami tribe.

Day 05:
Kohima. Morning drive to visit 'Bora Basti' which is the biggest settlement around Kohima. Walk through the street which has a mix of both traditional and modern houses. Later drive to visit state museum and explore the tribal cultural of Nagaland under a single roof.

Day 06:
Kohima. Morning drive to visit Konohoma Village. The original village was burned down in the year 1957 by the Indian forces during the 2nd World War. Walk down through the narrow streets to visit Dahua, a central meeting place of the Keko Lhukho house which is beautifully decorated in traditional style. Return back to Kohima for lunch. In afternoon explore the small Interesting vegetable market of Kohima. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07:
Kohima/Dimapur/Calcutta, Morning drive to reach Dimapur Airport for onward flight to Calcutta.
