Angling Tour: North East India

Day 01: Arrive Guwahati
You are received at Guwahati airport and transferred to your hotel. . Rest of the day at leisure to explore this gateway city to Northeast India and the riverfront of mighty Brahmaputra. In the evening set out on a River cruise to watch the sun go down the river and see yourself why the river is locally called 'Luit'- color of blood. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Angling Camp Nameri: National Park, Angling
Early in the morning, you will drive for Eco Camp operated by Anglers Association of Assam (AAA) inside the Nameri national Park. Located 208km from Guwahati. Breakfast is packed.

Reach Eco Camp. After checking in at your respective cottages have your lunch. Later raft on to Bhoroli River, the famous Angling spot in this part of India in search of the Golden Mahsheer. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Angling Camp Nameri: Elephant Ride, Rafting, Angling
Early morning Elephant ride inside the National Park. Return to camp for breakfast, after breakfast you will proceed to the angling site, the spots on Bhoroli known as angler's paradise. These spots are the natural habitat of Golden Mahsheer, the dream catch of anglers. Picnic lunch on the Angling site. Raft on the placid waters of the river. Return to Camp by the evening for dinner & overnight.

Day 03: Angling Camp Nameri: Tipi Orchidarrium, Angling
After an Early breakfast drive to Bhalukpung and visit the Orchidarrium at Tipi. This Orchidarrium, with a collection of 7500 orchids, has been set up to study the botanical paradise - the orchids of Arunachal Pradesh. Return to camp for an early Lunch and proceed on to angling site for some more catch for the day. Return to camp in the evening for dinner & overnight.

Day 04: Kaziranga: National Park, Rhino
Early morning drive to Kaziranga (158km), the place of Mother Nature. Check into your hotel. After lunch day is at leisure to explore innocent lives of the villagers of a nearby tribal village. Dinner & overnight at camp Wild Grass, Kaziranga.

Day 05: Kaziranga: Elephant Safari, Rhino
Early morning elephant safari to explore the central area of Kaziranga National park. Ride an Elephant through the park chasing a unicorn rhino along with a wide range of rare species. Return to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon take jeep safari to the central area of the park. Later return for dinner & overnight at the lodge at Kaziranga.

Day 06: Dibrugarh: Adivasi village, Tea estate
After an early morning game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and for Dibrugarh (230km). Upon arrival at Dibrugarh you will be accommodated in a century old host bungalow inside a Tea garden. After refreshment, visit a tea garden and admire the lifestyle of Tribal in the tea estate.

Evening enjoy the night falling with spring scent in open verandah of the host bunglow. Dinner & overnight at bunglow.

Day 07 Boleng: River Crossing, Angling Camp
Cross River Brahmaputra by ferry to reach Pasighat, in Arunachal Pradesh (170km from Dibrugarh across the river). After lunch at Pasighat drive to Boleng (65km from Pasighat). Arrive Pasighat and check into your individual tents. Dinner & overnight at the angling site.

Day 08 Boleng: Angling
After an early breakfast you are escorted to the angling site of the day. Picnic lunch at the site. of angling. Full day at Boleng. Evening return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 09 Boleng: Angling
After an early breakfast at the camp drive to Pangin (20km) for some more angling. Lunch is set on the riverside. Evening return to camp for dinner & overnight. overnight stay.

Day 10 Yambum: Angling
Early morning breakfast at the camp and drive to Yambum (15km from Pangin) another popular angling site. Spend the day for angling.

In the evening visit a local tribal village for some cultural feast. Dinner & overnight at Yambum at circuit house

Day 11 Dibrugarh
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Dibrugarh (200km). Upon arrival you will be transferred to The Bunglow. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Tea Gardens Dinner & overnight is at The Bungalow.

Day12 Dibrugarh - Onward Destination
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination.
