Day 1 Chennai - Mahabalipuram
Arrive Chennai, where you are met and escorted to Mahabalipuram. Arrive and check in at a Beach Resort. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Mahabalipuram - Chennai
Enjoy a morning sightseeing of Mahabalipuram, noted for its shore temple and rock carvings of the great Pallava kings (8th to 10th century). Afternoon is at leisure. Evening drive to Chennai. Upon arrival check in at your hotel.

Day 3 Chennai - Coimbatore
Late morning transfer to Chennai Railway Station to board an afternoon train for Coimbatore. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4 Coimbatore - Coonoor
An early start to the foothills at Mettupalayam to board the "toy train" to Coonoor. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. You may visit the Sims Park or hike on the mountain trails.

Day 5 Coonoor
Visit the nearby town of Ootacamund, earlier known as Ooty and take the "toy train" back to Coonoor in the evening.

Day 6 Coonoor - Mysore
Drive to Mysore and check in at your hotel. Afternoon visit Chamundi Hill, Nandi Bull and the colorful Devaraja Market.

Day 7 Mysore
Enjoy an excursion to Somnathpur, the famous Hoysala Temple, Srirangapattanam and the Ranganathittoo Bird Sanctuary.

Day 8 Mysore - Nagarhole
Morning visit the Mysore Palace and later drive on to Nagarhole Arrive and check in at Kabini River Lodge. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon.

Day 9 Nagarhole
Enjoy morning and afternoon jungle activities including a coracle ride, elephant ride and game drives.

Day 10 Nagarhole - Sultan's Battery
After a morning safari drive on to Sultan's Battery in the hill country of Wyanad. Stay at Tranquil, an elegant guesthouse in the midst of coffee plantations.

Day 11 Sultan's Battery
The day is at leisure to enjoy the area and its rich bird life.

Day 12 Sultan's Battery - Tellicherry
Drive to the coastal town of Tellicherry and check into the Ayisa Mansil, a grand colonial family home overlooking the Arabian Sea, for the night. Remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the town with your host family.

Day 13 Tellicherry - Cochin
Take a morning train to Cochin that takes a scenic route along the Malabar Coast. On arrival at midday transfer to your hotel. In the evening enjoy a sunset cruise around the Chinese fishing nets

Day 14 Cochin
In the morning visit the sights including the Jewish synagogue, St Francis' Church and the Dutch Palace. In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance.

Day 15 Cochin - Onward Flight
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
