Tawang Tour

Day 01:
Arrive Delhi/Calcutta and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02:
Delhi/Calcutta to Guwahati and drive to Tezpur for an overnight stay.

Day 03:
Drive to Dirang (195 kms). En-route visit Tipi, a glass house with over 7,500 Orchids and Sherdukpen tribal village at Rupa.

Day 04:
Dirang: All day sightseeing including Dirang Monpa tribal villages and Kalchakra Monastery. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 05:
Drive to Tawang (145km), en route visit Sela Pass (13700 ft.). Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 06:
Full day visit to Tawang Monastery which is more than 350 years old. Also visit Ani Gompa monastery of Nuns and typical Tawang Monpa tribal village.

Day 07:
Full day at Tawang, visit birth place of H.H. the 6th Dalai Lama, Penga Ten Tso Lake and craft Centre which produces very fine woolen carpets and Tawang War Memorial.

Day 08:
Drive to Bomdila (180 kms). See waterfalls in Jang; also visit Indo-China war memorial at Jaswantgarh.

Day 09:
Drive to Eco camp (120 kms). On the way visit Bugun tribe and Aka tribal village.

Day 10:
Transfer to Guwahati for Delhi/Calcutta.
