Mangalore, Hampi, Hubli, Belgaum, Bijapur and Mysore. By Road: An excellent and smooth road network connects the state with all the major cities of the country. By Rail: Bangalore Railway station is the major railway station in Karnataka. All the major towns are inter connected by daily trains. Rani Chenamma Express also serves as a connecting link for Bangalore and Belgaum. Sampark Kranti, Ajmer Express and Chalukya Express also ply between some of the major stations in Karnataka on a bi or tri weekly basis.
