Day-By-Day Itinerary

Cochin | Munnar | Thekkady | Kumarakom | Alleppey | Kovalam

Day 1: Cochin On arrival at the Kochi International Airport/Railway station, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, go for local sightseeing in Cochin. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (130km/4 hrs) After a delicious breakfast, depart for Munnar and enjoy the scenic beauty of the marvellous waterfalls and high mountains with the low-flying clouds passing. Arrive in Munnar and check into the hotel. In the evening, go for sightseeing in Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Munnar After a delectable breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour in Munnar which includes visits to Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you may see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Tea Museum, Mattupetty, Eco-Point etc. You can also enjoy boating in the lake (optional). In the evening, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (110 km/ 3.5 hrs) After an appetizing breakfast, leave for Thekkady passing through cardamom hills. Check into the resort. After lunch, visit spice plantation such as cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estate etc. On way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Thekkady - Allepey (90kms/4hrs) After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Alleppey which is endowed with immense natural beauty and an array of rivers, canals and lakes ideal for boat cruise. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional cruise on the backwaters. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Allepey - Kovalam (180kms/5hrs) After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later in the evening walk down to the nearest beach and spend the time on leisure.

Day 7: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam After a hearty breakfast, embark on a thrilling full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam in the evening.

Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum Departure (32kms / 45mins) After a delightful breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum airport/railway station for your onward journey.
